Bus Info

Below is info from Carefree Motorcoach

Prices

Prices are based on current fuel costs and may be subject to a fuel surcharge due to the fluctuating price of diesel fuel.
Prices are based on the most direct route to destination. Any deviation must be approved before commencement of the trip, and could result in additional charges. Any changes to the itinerary or times that result in an increase in miles or hours may result in additional charges.

The price is based on a maximum of 12 consecutive hours of use daily of the motorcoach (from the time the bus arrives to load at the beginning of the day until drop-off at end of the day – whether it be at the home base or at a hotel).

Accommodations
For all overnight stays, the group is responsible for booking and paying for the driver’s private accommodation, and parking for the bus. Accommodations with outside electric plug-ins for the buses will be required in the winter.

Equipment
We will provide a wide-body motorcoach equipped with washroom, reclining seats, card tables, air conditioning, TV/DVD/VCR system, PA/stereo system and high, sightseeing windows.

Driving regulations
At stops enroute and at destination, all passengers must exit the bus in order for the driver to have required breaks.
Minors on board the bus must be supervised at all times by adult(s) from group. Drivers are not supervisors.

Food and Beverages
There is absolutely no cooking on the bus (crockpots, slow cookers, etc).  Suggested foods to consume on board are sandwiches, muffins, pizza or subs, closable drink containers (no cans, no fountain drinks, slurpees, etc), no dairy products. Coffee and hot beverages must be in thermoses/travel mugs.

Gratuities
Drivers offer assistance and perform extra tasks for your benefit. As in any service industry, gratuities are not mandatory, but are much appreciated.  Gratuities are not included in the cost of the trip.

Damage
The chartering organization or individual may be responsible to reimburse Carefree Express Ltd. for repairing any damage caused by a person in their group, including charges for cleaning in excess of normal. Smoking is prohibited on the motorcoach.

Alcohol Consumption
No alcohol is allowed without written permission from Carefree Express Ltd. If permission is requested, there will be an additional charge of $50.00.
If permission is given and a permit obtained, the permit holder must be on board the bus with the permit in his/her possession. The permit holder assumes responsibility for all passengers consuming alcohol on board. Drivers do not monitor consumption, and are not to be declared as non-drinking supervisors.

Baggage
Baggage and all other personal property will be handled only at the passengers risk and only in the amount that can conveniently be carried in the charter bus. Carefree Express Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any personal property.
