Run Through for Try outs!
So we've been getting a lot of questions about try outs and how they will go so here is a quick run down of the days. If anyone isn't sure of times or dates click here
Level One- Try out for this level if you are 11 and under and have no experience. This is a one day try out where we will teach you a short dance, look at your jumps and tumbling for evaluations. It won't be intimidating or stressful but we may ask certain participants to repeat skills for us. We will be looking for flexibility, attitude/motivation and fast learners! We do not expect our level ones to be able to tumble in their first year.
Level 2/3 - These two levels go on the same days...we will put you on the one WE feel you will be strongest at. The first day will be spent working some tumbling, jumps and learning a short dance. The second day we will have each girl individually come out to the gym area and show us her jumps, her hardest tumbling skills and the dance. We will let the level 2 participants go first, and the level 3 participants go after. At the end of the first try out day (Thursday) We will have a time slot sign up sheet for Friday's evaluation. You will need to come early enough to stretch out etc...We are not guaranteeing your time slot will be exactly that time as we might ask girls to do a skill twice for better judgement etc. Please be understanding, we are allowing a sign up for time slots for YOUR convenience.
We will send out an email to all our registrations prior to tryouts...it is an attachment with the full year's dates, schedules and extra costs..All athletes and parents must initial beside the dates and at the end of it to ensure that those who are coming to try outs are aware of the commitment! Without this paper signed, you are not allowed to try out. We will have extra printed copies at the gym :)
